The modern healthcare cannot do without technique or engineering skills. The modern medicine basis is created and serviced by engineers, from the simplest instruments like scalpel and syringe to the computerized tomographic systems, medical ventilation apparatus, pump oxygenators. The bioengineering systems are widely adopted in different branches (space flights, livestock farming, medicine etc.) The "Biomedical engineering" degree course at NNSTU was established for the first time and is the only one in the Volga and Vyatka region. Here one can receive fundamental knowledge of engineering and biomedicine including mathematics, anatomy, physics, physiology, information science, bioengineering systems and other general engineering and special disciplines.
