The Dzershinsk Polytechnic Institute has been established for more than 30 years ago. In the course of the years about 10000 engineers and scientists have graduated from the Dzershinsk Polytechnic Institute of NNSTU. The majority of them has been working at different city and regional enterprises, many have become top managers.
The teaching staff for 80% consisting from professors possessing academic degrees and ranks provides for the high quality education.
Among them there are the Honored Scientists and Engineers, academicians and corresponding members of the branch Academies, Candidates of Science (Engineering) and Doctors of Engineering. The training for scientists is provided by MA course, postgraduate course and doctorate course. The All-Russian Student Competition in strength of materials will be held in October 2008 under the guidance of NNSTU on the basis of DPI of NNSTU.
